Domaine Didier Dageneau XXI

In 2021, the entire Sauvignon Blanc crop at Domaine Didier Dagueneau was assembled into a single cuvée – XXI. Such was the tiny volume at harvest, thanks to a growing season marked by frost, humidity and early summer hail, this wine brings together a unique blend of the property`s single plots. Very pale lemon-green, aromas are tightly woven and rich, recalling flinty, delicately spiced white and pink grapefruit. Palate is full, rich and deeply flavoured, having a firm, mineral structure alongside a creamy, luscious texture. This is a supremely elegant, age-worthy Pouilly Sauvignon Blanc, the finish being crisp, taut and long. Drinking now but will develop well.
